Assistant Brand Manager

As an Assistant Brand Manager at our corporate office in Charlotte, you will be key in supporting the brand management of products that match our customers’ distinct senses of style. Along with organizing and tracking important elements of the brand management process, you will also be involved in the creative process: from the concept boards to the managing of samples to reporting out on results. You will help research fashion trends, and utilize your knowledge of fabrics, trims, prints, colors, and silhouettes to promote Belk’s commitment to Modern. Southern. Style. Your role will also include collaborating with various teams at Belk, and assisting with other special projects as they arise.
To succeed as an Assistant Brand Manager, you will need to be a detail-oriented individual who has excellent planning skills. Your abilities to organize and prioritize both projects and schedules will be critical toward your success in this role. You will also be expected to have superb communication skills in order to build relationships and promote ideas within a cross-functional team. Knowledge of Microsoft programs and other basic computer skills is a must. If you want to work on creating and setting the standard for private brand labels manufactured solely for Belk, then this is the job for you.
