Sourcing Associate

As the Sourcing Associate at our newly renovated campus in Charlotte, you will be part of a fast-paced, inclusive team that is dedicated to developing brands that showcase our customers’ own unique styles. You will be responsible for overseeing the production process of Private Label Brands, and will help manage these brands in an effective manner. You will also serve as a liaison between the Sourcing Manager and the Brand Manager to ensure that each brand is meeting quality and market goals. This job is ideal for anyone who wants to learn more about the marketing and production sides of the fashion retail industry.
You will have to be a self-starter, develop and manage timelines with in-house teams and overseas vendors, and have a strong understanding of the vendor matrix in order to be successful as a Sourcing Associate at Belk. You must be capable and willing to travel abroad to meet with vendors in order to align strategies, and will be expected to excel in both written and oral communication to promote collaboration amongst different Belk departments. You will be sure that our mission of Modern. Southern. Style. is promoted by ensuring that all products meet quality and safety standards while working with the Color and Product Integrity team. The ability to create and monitor purchase orders and other data relating to products is critical in your role as a Sourcing Associate as well.
